Class of 1960 at Central High School will have their 50 year class reunion Sept. 3 beginning at 5pm at the home of Aubrey and Joann Turner located at 258 Lagniappe Lane just past General Equipment on the Smithville Highway in Warren Co. Annual Rains Reunion will be held Sat. Sept. 4 from 10am-2pm at the Morrison Ruritan Building. Bring a covered dish. Live music from 10:30-11:30am by the Country Classic Band. Lunch at 12 noon.

The 57th annual Rogers Reunion will be held Sat. Sept. 4 at the Mt. Leo Church of Christ Fellowship Hall on Beersheba Highway in Warren Co. Doors open at 10:30am with a covered dish at noon. Family members urged to attend.

The 85th Annual Silver Tea given for the upkeep of the Morrison Cemetery will take place Sat. Sept. 4 from 3pm-4:30pm at the Morrison Ruritan. Mail donations to: Nettie Lou Hefner, 711 N. Main St., Morrison, TN. 37357.

Hubbards Cove Church of God on Highway 108 past Viola in Grundy Co. will have their monthly clothing sale Sat. Sept. 4 from 9am-3pm. Fill a bag of clothes, shoes and jackets for 2 dollars a bag. Baked items also for sale. Also need items to keep their sale program going. Call 692-3120 and they will come and pick up. Everyone is welcome.

Bags of Love in Warren Co. will have a food collection to distribute to hungry pets Sat. Sept. 4 from 9am-4pm at St. Matthews Church on Edgewood Avenue. In additon to pet food they will also be collecting doghouses. For more info call 434-5189.

Turning Point United Pentecostal Church on Ebonwood St. will have homecoming services Sept. 4 and 5. Dinner on the ground Sat. at 5pm with singing and door prizes to follow. Dennis Williams from Louisiana will be the guest speaker. Sun. services begin at 10am with Sunday School followed by worship services at 11am with Dennis Williams the guest speaker. A Revival begins Sun. Sept. 5 at the Hubbards Cove Church of God on Highway 108 toward Viola. Jerry Stoik will be the guest speaker. Everyone is welcome.

The 2010 Warren County Princess Pageant will be held on Sept. 25, 2010 at the Warren Co. High School Auditorium. The pagent is open to girls 12-14 years of age. There is no restriction on county of residence. The pageant is sponsored by the Warren Co. High School Pioneerette Dance Team. Applications are available at Southern Standard, Kathy's Bridal, Memories Bridal and area schools. Applications must be postmarked by Sept. 10, 2010.

Warren Co. Chapter of the American Red Cross will have 2 blood drives in September. On Wednesday Sept. 8 from noon-6pm at the McMinnville Civic Center and Fri. Sept. 10 from noon-5pm at the McMinnville Wal-Mart. All types are urgently needed.
