The 12th Annual Back To The Strip was another huge success this year and for Meals On Wheels, according to Mary Walker.
In 2023 Back To The Strip raised 55,000 dollars for the second consecutive year. That brings their total to close to 500,000 dollars, with over 387,000 dollars in donations and over 100,000 dollars for food. Donations for pet food exceeded expectations with 20,000 pounds collected in the last five years.
Walker said 3-4 tons of canned foods were collected and overloaded their trailer. In its 12 year history close to 25 tons of food have been collected for Meals For Wheels.
