By Missy Taliaferro Oct 18, 2023 | 10:53 AM

With less just a few days remaining until the October 20th tnAchieves mentor application deadline, Cumberland County still needs 20 volunteer mentors to meet local student demand.

Bedford County needs 22 tnAchieves mentors. Coffee County needs 32. DeKalb County still needs 11 tnAchieves mentors.  Fentress County needs 8.    Putnam 49, Rhea needs 19, Sequatchie County 2, Van Buren 5 and White county needs 18 tnAchieves mentors.

tnAchieves mentors provide support and guidance to TN Promise college students. Mentors must be 21 years of age and commit just one hour per month to serve students in their community.  tnAchieves provides a training, handbook and weekly updates throughout the year. tnAchieves also provides monthly webinars to ensure mentors have ongoing support in their work with students.
