Sheriff Matheny and County Executive Terry Bell are asking citizens, if possible, to avoid the areas around Jacksboro, Vervilla, Bridgestone, and Old Wells Roads. There are multiple trees and power lines down in these areas. The Sheriff’s office is working in conjunction with the Warren County Highway Department, County Executive Bell, and his maintenance department, and other volunteer first responders, to get the roads cleared as quickly as possible. However, Warren County is expected to receive more heavy rain and possible storms throughout the night. If you don’t have to be out, please stay home.
