McMinnville, TN – This morning, District Attorney General Chris Stanford of the 31st Judicial District joined host Justin Reed on 97.7 WBMC for an insightful discussion covering the justice system, the importance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the recent tragic passing of Phyllis Prater, the beloved owner of Prater’s BBQ, who lost her life in an automobile accident on October 24.
During the broadcast, Stanford highlighted the need for transparency and support within the justice system, noting the collaborative efforts of his office and local law enforcement since he took office in 2022. He stressed the importance of community engagement in promoting safety and ensuring residents of Warren County and Van Buren County have access to accurate information.
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Stanford shared vital resources available for those affected by domestic violence.
