On February 22, 2025, Warren County Sheriff’s Officers responded to a brutal episode in Rock Island involving two women, Jennifer Campos and Brittany Austin, who had sustained injuries. Earlier that day, the women had driven Bobby Graves back to Warren County after providing him a ride from Knoxville. Once they returned, a dispute broke out, leaving Campos with a cut to her throat and Austin with a shoulder injury. Graves fled the scene but was later located in White County, where he inflicted an injury to himself before being taken into custody. Both Campos and Graves were airlifted to Erlanger Hospital for treatment. All involved have been release from the hospital and expected to recover.

Authorities suspect that drugs may have contributed to the altercation. Graves, who was under active parole, has been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, with a $1 million bond for each charge, totaling $2 million. His arraignment is set for March 4, 2025. The investigation is still ongoing, with no additional searches currently planned.
